Unconditional jump instructions The unconditional jump is a jump in which control is transferred uncondi- tionally to the target location . In the 8051 there are two unconditional jumps : LJMP ( long jump ) and SJMP ( short jump ) .
JZ target Function : Flags : Jump if A = zero None This instruction examines the contents of the accumulator and jumps if it has value 0 . Example : A string of bytes of data is stored in RAM locations starting at address 50H .
