Brooklyn [N.Y.] music school settlement has announced that it will open courses in all branches of music to men discharged from the navy and army. The Federal board for Vocational education has requested the settlement to provide a house to be used as a convalescent home for disabled men while in training at the school. It is believed that many men in the service could be fitted for positions such as playing in orchestras in hotels, restaurants, theaters, etc., and for piano tuners.
