Municipal ownership Toronto, Can.-Voters of the city at a recent election voted in favor of the acquisition by the city of the Toronto railway system in 1921. At that time the thirty-year franchise in force at present will expire. The vote gave an overwhelming majority in favor of the proposition, about 39,000 to 3,700.
