About the author (2005)

Stephen Doyle is perhaps the most well-known and highly regarded author for ICT at secondary level. Since the 1980s Stephen has been involved in teaching computing and ICT in schools and colleges across the country. Stephen has been a Head of Department and has also trained teachers of ICT at the university level. After over 30 years of teaching, examining and assessing ICT at all levels in schools and FE colleges, he has unrivalled experience and understanding of the problems teachers face in teaching the subject - as well as the difficulty students have in learning it.
