Lake type of vessel built for the Emergency Fleet Corporation by the Great Lakes Engineering Works, Detroit, Mich. She is an ocean freighter of 4,300 deadweight tons. Vessels of this type were built by the Great Lakes Engineering Works at the rate of one every nine days for two years continuously.
