About the author (2006)

Louise Richardson is the Executive Dean of The Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study at Harvard University. She is the author or editor of three books including the forthcoming What Terrorists Want (2006), Democracy and Counterterrorism: Lessons from the Past (2005) and When Allies Differ: Anglo-American Relations in the Suez and Falkland Crises (1996).
